The Sudanese army has declared that it will not stop firing for Ramadan fasting.
According to Ata's statement released yesterday by the official Telegram channel of the Sudanese army, there will not be a Ramadan ceasefire if the armed forces do not withdraw their troops from the homes of civilians in accordance with the agreement reached by Saudi Arabia and the United States last May.
However, the Rapid Action Forces, led by General Mohamed Hamdan Degalo or Hemeti, said they had accepted the UN's call for a ceasefire.
