
Kenya has declared a 3-day day of mourning.
The country reached this decision following the death of 9 members of the Kenyan army, including the country's army chief, in a helicopter crash.
President William Ruto has announced that the Mourning Day will take effect from today and will last for 3 days.
The President said, "I am deeply saddened to announce the death of the Chief of Defense Force, General Francis Omodi, in the accident."
