The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has announced that more than 12 vehicles loaded with food aid have entered Darfur, Sudan from Chad.
Vehicles loaded with barley, oil and rice entered Sudan to reach more than 13,000 people who are at risk of starvation in the Kerenek area of ??West Darfur.
The institute stressed that millions of citizens are in urgent need of food aid and that more support should be collected.
It should not be forgotten that the United Nations previously declared the worst famine crisis in history in Sudan.
