At least 42 people have been killed in an airstrike in northwestern Syria, reports said.
According to the Syrian Ministry of Defense, Israeli warplanes targeted several areas in the countryside of Aleppo.
The UK-based monitoring group said it had hit an arms depot of the Hezbollah militant group.
The group pointed out that the number of Syrian soldiers who died at the same time is the highest among the attacks carried out by Israel in Syria.
Citing two security sources, Reuters news agency said five Hezbollah fighters were among the dead.
The BBC reported that Israel had no comment on the attack until the news broke.
