Debretabor University established an archive center called "Begemdir" and graduated.
Ato Basa Warku, a lecturer at the University's Department of History and Heritage Management, told our site that the center contains various written heritages and records.
He explained that it was chosen as the name of the center because it is an ancient and historical name in Gemdir.
Various historical records, written artifacts and photos are available at the center.
It is said that the archive center will help in conducting various studies and researches.
As the records and related artifacts are not kept with the proper care and technology, we all have a big homework to do, said Mr.
