The Ethiopian Consulate in Lebanon has announced that Ethiopians in Lebanon should protect themselves from terrorist attacks.
The office stated that the tension in Lebanon and the region continues to worsen. He said that attacks on southern Lebanon and some areas of Beirut have intensified.
He announced that he is monitoring the situation together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the safety of citizens.
He urged Ethiopians in Lebanon to stay away from areas identified or considered targets of violence.
The office, which pointed out that the instructions and directions given by the Lebanese government should be implemented, stressed that if the situation worsens, the next steps will be announced, so they should monitor the information released on the social media page of the consulate.
He also requested that you inform the consular hotline when you are facing a worse situation.
