The government has prepared a map of digital agriculture extension and advisory service to ensure that all farmers have equal information.
The map of the National Digital Agriculture Extension and Advisory Service has been announced in the presence of various stakeholders and the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute.
Minister of Agriculture and Horticulture, Dr. Melese Mekonnen, has said that the government is updating the agriculture sector by digitizing information about agriculture so that all farmers have equal information.
Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute General Director Dr. Mandefro Nigussie has explained that the aim of the National Digital Agriculture Extension and Advisory Service is to increase the productivity of the farmers, empower women and young farmers and improve the food and food system.
