Bule Hora University president Chala Wata (Dr) has been arrested by police.
Chala Wata (Dr) has been reported that he has deposited more than 23 million birr from the university account inappropriately. It has been confirmed that he has misappropriated 195 million birr.
In addition, 14 vehicles and machinery were made with 116 million birr.
It has been noted that the vehicles and machinery bought by the university are owned by private companies.
It has been said that the member has done a lot of damage to the government by hiring BHU Consultants as a construction consultant for the government and making direct purchases other than the law allowed by the government.
For this reason, on the 13th regular assembly of the House of People's Representatives, Chala Wata (Dr) who has taken away his right without being prosecuted has been arrested by police.
