Ethiopian Ministry of Transport and Logistics has said that it has not been able to start the construction of Kombolcha dry port expansion.
The minister has announced that the area chosen for the construction is where farmers are dreaming of being buried, so the 25 hectares land is being asked to pay 525 million birr according to the Kassa guidelines.
It is also said that the expansion construction that has been more than five years since planned has not yet started.
Deputy CEO of Ethiopia Bahir Transport and Logistics, Mr. Mihretab Teklu has said that it will take more than 500 million birr to complete the overall construction and the question that the question is not appropriate.
The mayor said the city administration is in great interest to build the expansion of Kombolcha dry port, but the needs of the farmers and the services have not been able to be met, and in this way the construction of the Kombolcha dry harbor has not been started.
