The Addis Ababa Education and Training Quality Control Authority has announced that action has been taken against 12 substandard schools.
He announced that 12 schools in Addis Ababa that did not meet the standards and were below standard were closed.
The official announced that schools in Lafto sub-district 7, Aqaki Kalit 2, Bole 2 and Kolfe Karanio 2 were closed due to wind.
The official stated that the schools will not be able to teach for the year 2016.
