The Ministry of Mines has announced that activities are underway to start operations of companies that were engaged in the exploration and production of minerals, including gold, in the Tigray region.
It is to be remembered that the international companies that were engaged in the development and exploration of the mineral sector in the region have been having difficulty in carrying out their work due to the nature of the problem.
According to ESA, Minister of State for Mines Eta Million Mathew said that companies engaged in the production and exploration of gold, cement and other minerals in the Tigray region are now getting favorable conditions for them to return to work.
It is to be remembered that the Mesbo cement factory in the region has already started operations.
