'M-PESA' Safaricom Ethiopia mobile finance service has started to operate today after 3 months after receiving a license from the National Bank of Ethiopia.
The institution has announced that it has been making necessary system inspections and technical preparations for the past 3 months.
By signing partnership agreements with banks and recruiting and training agents we have seen from the social link page that they have started to mobile finance.
M-PESA app which is prepared in 5 languages users have been told that they can send money locally, receive money from home and abroad, pay bills, buy airtime, deposit money to their bank accounts and send money from their bank accounts to M-PESA.
