The Ethiopian Electric Power announced that Sudan has not paid the electricity bill that it currently uses more than 50 million dollars.
The service has announced that it has paid properly before the conflict started in Sudan and stopped paying after the conflict.
It has been said that work is being done to solve the gaps between the foreign minister and the Sudanese ambassador.
The service also announced that Ethiopia has earned more than 102 million dollars from the sales of electricity to neighboring countries in the fiscal year 2015.
Ethiopia got this income from selling electricity to Djibouti, Sudan and Kenya.
Even though the income from Djibouti shows an increase of 4 percent compared to the fiscal year 2014, the income from Sudan shows a decrease of 34 percent.
