The Ethiopian Human Rights Commissioner said the postponement of the state of emergency is concerning.
Ethiopian human rights commission chief commissioner Daniel Bekele (Dr) said the postponement of the state of emergency that was made six months ago is a concern.
The commissioner said this by pointing out the negative impact that the extension of the proclamation might have on the management of human rights.
The commissioner has stated on his X page that "The House of Peoples' Representatives and the government should properly consider the necessity, legality and fairness of the state of emergency".
The commissioner Aklew has advised that discussion is the key solution to the problem that forced the state of emergency to collapse.
