Safaricom said it has given 117 points 5 million dollars loan in Ethiopia.
The East Africa reported that Safaricom, the first private telecom service provider in Ethiopia, has provided a loan of 117.5 million dollars to its customers through its financial services app called "M-PESA".
The company has also announced that it has earned 30 million dollars in nine months by telecom services alone.
It is stated that this income will be made until the end of the foreigners' 2023.
At the moment in Ethiopia, Mpesa money transfer rate has reached 115.6 million dollars and the number of users of the service has reached 3.1 million.
