Lemi National Cement Factory is about to start production.
The Amhara Regional Government Office has announced that the huge Mimi National Cement Factory will soon be inaugurated, and production will begin.
It is said that the factory is the largest cement factory in Africa and has the capacity to produce more than 10 thousand tons of cement per day.
It is said that the plant is expected to produce 130,000 to 150,000 quintals of cement per day when it is fully operational.
It has been shown that when the construction is completed and production begins, it will be able to cover 50 percent of Ethiopia's cement demand.
The Factory is a huge cement factory built in Ansaro District, Amhara Region, North Shwa Zone.
