It is said that the support is for the demining operation to ensure peace and security in northern Ethiopia.
The United Nations mine clearance service has deployed in Kenedru to help reduce the damage caused by landmines and remnants of weapons that threaten the lives of communities living in Tigray and Afar.
It was also noted that the demining team has started collecting accurate information and conducting technical investigations in the war-torn areas.
