Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) said that action has been taken against more than 8,000 members of the Prosperity Party in the last six months.
The Prime Minister said this during a discussion with political parties.
He said that the party has passed the decision of arresting, expelling and demoting more than 8,000 of its members.
He stated that individuals who have resigned from the party are involved in inappropriate activities.
